TightScrews are machined tension rods with a patented built-in nylon insert that allows for snug, precise tuning and is designed to prevent detuning. Standard models are available in 1 5/8″ (42 mm), 2″ (52 mm), 2 1/2″ (65 mm), and 4 5/16″ (110 mm) sizes and feature 12-24 threads that are compatible with most major manufacturers’ drums, counterhoops, and lugs. DW’s True-Pitch 10-32 thread rods, as well as black and custom-color finishes, are available by special order.
