In person – Jerry Shirley of Britain’s notorious Humble Pie & Carmine Appice of Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and Beck, Bogert & Appice fame. Celebrating the release of Jerry’s memoir and Carmine’s top-selling instructional book. Hear their stories, learn their beats, and meet the original showmen!
7pm – Get up close with a Master Drum Class featuring Jerry and Carmine at Drummers Collective (123 W. 18th St., 7th floor, between 6th and 7th). The class is free to full-time students. For non-students, $15 gets you a reserved seat and a $5 coupon to use towards an autographed book of your choice from Jerry and/or Carmine, and free admission to the book release party (see below). Seating is limited, so make reservations now by calling 212-741-0091 x100.
9pm – Hang with Jerry and Carmine as we celebrate the release of Jerry’s new book at the refurbished Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St. between Park and Madison). Featuring a smokin’ band, rocking out Humble Pie’s greatest hits with special guests and other surprises. It is FREE – no cover charge. Advertisement
