“Beats, Brews, and Banter,??? with Dr. Robert Brosh, UArts drum students, and MCD Custom Drums

Are you a drummer, drum educator, gear-head, or wannabe? Philly Drum Project’s monthly meet-up, Beats, Brews, and Banter, continues on Monday, November 5th at Roosevelt’s Pub at the corner of 23rd and Walnut in Philadelphia. The meet-up will run from 7pm-9pm and feature special guest Dr. Robert Brosh, department chair of the drum program at The University of the Arts. He teaches privately at the university, runs the drumset ensemble, and plays in jazz, funk, and percussion groups around the city. Joining him will be seniors from UArts, who will demonstrate techniques and compositions. Local custom drum company MCD Percussion will provide drums for the event. Beats, Brews, and Banter will continue on the first Monday of each month with a featured speaker/clinician each month.

Philly Drum Project is a percussive collective dedicated to sharing gear, lessons, beats and gigs, while emphasizing creativity, education, and community.
