Drummer/producer Thomas Lang (stOrk, Paul Gilbert, John Wetton) has announced that the Big Drum Bonanza 2013 is scheduled for July 3 through 7 at the Drum Channel studios in Oxnard, CA and at the nearby Courtyard Marriot in Camarillo, CA. Drummers of all ages, levels, and styles are invited to join Thomas Lang and other special guest instructors, including George Kollias (Nile), Stanton Moore (Galactic), Virgil Donati (Steve Vai, Planet X, Derek Sherinian), Chris Coleman (Chaka Khan, NKOTB), Jon Dette (Anthrax, Slayer), and Dave Elitch (the Mars Volta), for this five-day music camp and educational experience. Lang and guest teachers will lead daily schedules of intensive, hands-on drumming, master classes, question-and-answer sessions, performances, private lessons, and much more.

Presented by MUSO Entertainment, the BDB 2013 will also feature an opportunity to enjoy a VIP tour of the Drum Workshop factory, as well as participate in camp activities held at the Drum Channel studios. “This is our second Big Drum Bonanza, and we are incredibly honored to have this caliber of talent at the event,” says Lang. “We are proud to offer students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play with and learn from some of the most acclaimed and talented drummers of our generation.”
