Over the past month, members of the Modern Drummer and Blend.io communities were able to showcase their musical talents in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity from the Loop Loft and Blend.io. Using Ableton Live, producers and musicians created original songs featuring loops and samples from the Loop Loft, including recordings from legendary musicians Omar Hakim (Sting, David Bowie, Madonna, Daft Punk) and Mino Cinélu (Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock). Blenders brought their A-game, giving our panel of judges a challenging decision. It wasn’t easy, but after much deliberation the winners have been announced.

First-place winner blazej will be taking home the Loop Loft Platinum Pack (a $329 value), a plugin of their choice from PSP Audioware, Grado Labs SR325i Headphones (a $295 value), a one-year subscription to Modern Drummer magazine, and T-shirts from Modern Drummer and Blend.io.

Second-place winner mkjmusic1 will be taking home the Loop Loft Producer Pack Vol. 1 (a $195 value), Grado Labs SR125i Headphones (a $125 value), and T-shirts from Modern Drummer and Blend.io.

And third-place winner Spacekonsta will be taking home Grado Labs SR60i Headphones (a $79 value) and T-shirts from Modern Drummer and Blend.io.
