Toca Percussion Offering Dual-Tone Snare Conga Cajon
Toca Percussion’s new versatile, portable Snare Conga Cajon wraps two distinct sounds into one easy-to-play and portable instrument. The fiberglass bowl is topped with a thin layer of tone wood that’s divided into two chambers. The larger chamber produces a deep conga tone, and the smaller chamber is affixed with an underside snare to create the distinct treble sound of a cajon. Ideal for tight percussion setups, the Snare Conga Cajon sits in a lightweight, height-adjustable floor stand and packs easily into a padded carrying case.
“Toca is always looking for ways to incorporate a larger array of sounds into the percussionist’s ensemble without taking up valuable space,” said Victor Filonovich, Toca’s direct of product. “The Snare Conga Cajon produces two instantly recognizable acoustic tones, while taking up a smaller footprint than a single traditional conga.”
MSRP for the Toca Snare Conga Cajon is $379.00.
