Philly Drum Project’s next monthly “Beats, Brews, & Banter” drum will take place this Tuesday, October 7  from 7 to 9 PM at the Boot & Saddle on 1131 S. Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This meeting will feature jazz drummer Anwar Marshall. This event is strictly twenty-one and over, and PDP is suggesting that all attendees bring their own drum throne, since seating is limited in the venue.

A graduate of The University of the Arts, Anwar is the chosen drummer for Orrin Evans’s Captain Black Big Band, and the Mini Q’s with Luke O’Reilly & Ben O’Neill.
