In this video from NAMM 2015, RBH Drums’ Bruce Hagwood shows us an assortment of sets and snares, including the new Americana Jump Kit with 13×16 bass drum and Axis snare basket, the Diamond Series drumkit with hand-cut inlays, solid-leather embossed scratch guards, and various Monarch and Prestige line snare drums.

Monarch series snares displayed include a burl walnut 3-ply with solid-brass tube lugs in golden-wax finish, a karelian birch burl 5×14, a curly maple model with burgundy die stain finish, a drum with a curly cherry outer veneer, and a cherry snare with a bird’s-eye maple inlay. Drums from the Prestige line include a solid bird’s-eye maple steam-bent snare with matching re-rings, a curly maple snare, and a snare in American black cherry with bird’s-eye maple re-rings.

Lastly presented is a ribbon stripe mahogany drumkit with curly maple inlay in a 22, 10, 14, 16 configuration featuring poplar 1″ and .5″ re-rings that are said to add more low-end and require less dampening. Advertisement
