Effective January 31, 2015, Sabin has acquired Crescent Cymbals. Outgoing Crescent CEO, Michael Vosbein adds, “While we are very proud of our numerous accomplishments, it was time to pass the reins to Sabian, who has the ability to bring the Crescent brand to new heights. Under our guidance, Sabian began hand crafting all Crescent cymbals in 2014, and has truly captured our sound and feel. Crescent Cymbals will continue to be completely handcrafted in Meductic, New Brunswick, bearing the name Crescent. The Crescent artist roster will remain intact. All current models will be offered, including the popular Jeff Hamilton and Stanton Moore series.”
