Remo at NAMM 2015 Pt 1 (VIDEO)
In this video from NAMM 2015, Remo product manager, Chalo Eduardo, shows us Remo’s new hand drumming products for this year.
First up is the Tamburello, which comes in two models: a Pre-Tuned with a fixed Skyndeep graphic drumhead and a tunable version with a replaceable P3 head. Both feature conical jingle rings and a Acousticon drum shell.
Also new from Remo is the Pandurello. Similar in appearance to the Tamburello, the Pandurello is a hybrid instrument influenced by two popular drumming styles: one from Brazil and the other from Calabria in Southern Italy. The Pandurello produces low bass tones and has a Skyndeep graphic drumhead with a Mylar underlay ring. Like the Tamburello, the Pandurello has conical chrome jingle rings and a Acousticon shell.
Next, Eduardo demonstrates the Drum Table with its Comfort Sound Technology. This instrument produces a big vibration but has a gentle, non-abrasive sound that works well with listeners who may be especially sensitive to loud sounds. There is also a Drum Table with a Skyndeep drumhead that’s made for professional drummers. Advertisement
