The Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Memphis Drum Shop, Royal Studios, and Memphis Rock ’n Soul Museum will host events that celebrate the life and musical legacy of Booker T and the MGs drummer Al Jackson, Jr, and raise funds to establish the Al Jackson, Jr Scholarship at the Stax Music Academy.

Held Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18, 2015, the weekend events feature celebrity drummers Steve Jordan and Jim Keltner.
