News: Tortoise’s John Herndon Releases Clothing Collaboration With The Quiet Life
Chicago/Los Angeles-based musician, tattoo artist, illustrator, and founding member/drummer of Tortoise, John Herndon has released his new clothing collaboration with LA collective The Quiet Life. The collection consists of embroidered and printed fleece work shirts, short sleeve t-shirts, 5-panel hats, snapback trucker hats, socks, and more, all incorporating John’s unique tattoo-style art work.
The capsule debuted at Kingswell in Los Angeles and is now available at select shops worldwide and online at thequietlife.com. John’s art has flourished on several collaborations in music, design, and film over the past two years including board graphics for Antihero Skateboards, a forthcoming Tortoise album, music for Vans’ feature-length movie Propeller alongside skate legends Tommy Guerrero and Ray Barbee, and countless tattoos worn proudly by fans worldwide.
