After nearly twelve months of searching and musician testing, the one-of-a-kind marketplace for musicians formerly called Drum Exchange will be changing its name to GearBooth, effective January 1, 2016.

“We’re very excited to align our name and branding with a greater audience who is interested in using our services but was turned-off by the name targeting only drummers,” says founder and CEO Judah Parness.

To complement the new branding, Judah says musicians can expect an upgraded user experience with redesigned product pages, search and browse listing cards, and an expedited checkout. Parness stresses all listings and accounts will be seamlessly transferred to the new domain. Similarly, all email addresses will remain the same but the domain will switch to GearBooth.com. For example, support@thedrumexchange.com will now become support@gearbooth.com.
