The third edition of the International Percussion Festival will take place July 19 to 24 in Villa Lomellini, Montebello della Battaglia (PV), under the artistic direction of Maestro Loris Stefanuto. The festival includes competitions, concerts, and master classes.

The previous festival included more than one hundred musicians who participated in the areas of classic and creative ensembles, multi-percussion, drumset, marimba, snare drum, and vibraphone.

The jury, composed of well-known professionals from all over the world, will award prizes and merit and participation certificates. “The great news of this edition are the twenty-two international jurors, seven more than the last edition, [a] sign that the festival is growing up,” declared the Artistic Director Loris Stefanuto. “Some of the jurors are going to hold concerts and master classes and the cultural related-matters initiatives, open to the public, include an exposition of percussion instruments and conferences.”

Confirmed artists include Percurama, Casey Cangelosi, Nanae Mimura, Andrei Pushkarev, Theodor Milkov, Paolo Cimmino with Meditamburi and Rosalia De Souza, Israel Varela Trio with special guest Karen Lugo, and BeBop All Stars Quintet. Advertisement
