We recently had the opportunity to visit Bruce Hagwood of RBH Drums at his workshop in Virginia Beach. He gave us a behind-the-scenes look at his drum-making process and shared a little about the history of his company. Bruce specializes in making steam-bent and 3-ply shells. “While state-of-the-art machinery is used during the process,” he says, “all of the work is done by hand, from cutting and gluing the scarf joints to buffing the lugs and applying the final finish.” We hope you enjoy this exclusive look at RBH Drums.
