Zildjian Drumsticks Artist Series, Maple, Maple DIP, and Birch Models
Zildjian has released fifteen new drumstick models, including Artist series sticks developed in conjunction with Joey Kramer and Danny Seraphine. Kramer’s stick has a cross-sanded, raw finish and is 16.25″ long. Seraphine’s stick features a unique thumb groove designed to facilitate proper hand positioning and provide comfort. Constructed from select U.S. hickory, this stick features a teardrop-shaped tip.
Additional maple models, which are designed to offer a lighter feel and darker tonality than their hickory counterparts, include Super 7A, Jazz, 5A, and 5B sizes. Zildjian’s new Maple DIP sticks, which feature a double coating of vibrant green grip, are available as 5A, 5B, Super 7A, Maple Mini Ball, and Maple Acorn models. The DIP coating provides increased thickness in the grip, along with back weighting to improve rebound.
Zildjian rounds out its new drumstick offerings with four laminated models constructed from resin-coated plies of U.S. birch. This dense material provides heavier weight, enhanced projection, and increased durability. Birch sticks are available in Heavy Super 7A, Heavy 6A, Heavy 5A, and Heavy 5B models.
