ArtistWorks Adds Bass Campus To Its Video Exchange Learning Site

Drummers, you might want to let your bass-playing bandmates in on the fact that the online music education website ArtistWorks.com has launched a bass guitar “campus.” Among the world-class bassists who will be breaking down their approaches on HD video are Nathan East, John Patitucci, and Missy Raines. Like the drum- and percussion-oriented ArtistWorks lessons taught by Thomas Lang, Luis Conte, and Billy Cobham, the bass lessons involve students posting video of themselves playing, which the teaching artist responds to with a video of their own. Other students then get the benefit of learning from these video exchanges.
