Hey, MD readers! Alicia Warrington here. Just wanted to give you a little update on what I’ve been working on lately. Recently I had the pleasure of filling in on percussion for the amazingly talented Tracy Chapman. I played in her new video, “Sing For You,” so look for that soon!

I’ve been crazy busy writing and recording an E.P. with my own project, The All-Girl Boys Choir. This new project is a duo: Marlene “The Hammer” Hammerle of Gore Gore Girls and myself. I toured ten countries with Gore Gore Girls earlier this year. For this band, I’m recording the drums, bass, and guitar. Marlene is doing lead/slide guitars and harmonica. It’s definitely rock, but very much influenced by blues and classic country. There’s a short video clip on our myspace profile.
