Universal Percussion to Host Open House
Universal Percussion will be hosting an open house for consumers and dealers at its Columbiana, Ohio headquarters on Sunday, September 8, 2013.
Dealers will be able to sell reduced-priced instruments to consumers in attendance as well as purchase inventory through September 15. The Universal Percussion sales staff will be available to help dealers close sales with consumers or to write orders for their stores. Consumers will be able to shop and handpick cymbals, gongs, or any of the 12,000 products that Universal Percussion carries. Consumer admission is $20 or $10 and two cans of food to be donated to the Way Station, which is a charitable organization that offers a wide variety of programs to people in need in the Columbiana area. A portion of the admission proceeds will also be donated to the Way Station. Dealer admission is free.
New inventory includes world percussion, marching drums, gong bags, new Wuhan cymbals, unique special effects, low-priced drumsticks, mallets, bell kits, snare kits on wheels, percussion toys, and more.
At the conclusion of the sales day, local singer/songwriter Natalie Sprouse will open the musical festivities with a few of her original songs and a clinic/concert by legendary drummer Terry Bozzio and Universal Percussion’s Tom Shelley will follow. There will also be giveaways of gear and a drum circle for people of all ages. Advertisement
