AM Cajons is a new company based in Kenosha, Wisconsin offering handmade cajons in two models. The Rambler is made with Baltic birch and features a dual fourteen-strand internal snare system. The Ambassador is also made from Baltic birch and has an eight-string internal snare system. The finishes for both models are inspired by the vintage drum finishes of the ’60s and ’70s and include blue or silver metal flake sparkle, tobacco sunburst, and black cherry fade. The drums also feature heavily rounded corners and curved edges for extra comfort. Each cajon is built one at a time to the customer’s request and is numbered when complete.

The Rambler lists for $175, and the Ambassador lists for $200.
