News: LA Band Donates Memorabilia To Hard Rock’s World-Famous Collection
Rock Band Love and a .38 to Appear at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at Universal CityWalk
For Memorabilia Donation, Charity Raffle and Performance
Local Los Angeles rock band, Love and a .38, will be joining Hard Rock history by adding an instrument from their personal reserve to Hard Rock’s world-famous memorabilia collection. Love and .38 will also be performing at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at Universal CityWalk following the donation on June 25, 2015 at 9 p.m. The band is donating a Luna Gypsy Pre Bass which will become a permanent part of Hard Rock’s memorabilia collection, which boasts nearly 80,000 pieces worldwide.
In honor of the donation, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at Universal CityWalk will also host a charity raffle and serve specialty cocktails to benefit local charity Adopt the Arts, an organization that brings together well-known artists, public figures, entrepreneurs, policy makers and the general public to save the arts in America’s public schools. The charity raffle will include a single drumhead and stick from Guns N’ Roses’ Matt Sorum. Raffle tickets cost $1, with 100% of proceeds being donated to Adopt the Arts and $1 being donated from each specialty cocktail sold throughout the night.
