Greta Van Fleet drummer Danny Wagner runs down his tour kit for Modern Drummer. We meet Wagner onstage as he goes through the kit he’s playing on throughout Greta Van Fleet’s “Starcatcher” World Tour, which includes a Concert Tom “Frankestein” kit, Remo drum heads, Paiste cymbals, and Ludwig timbales. Wagner notes that not only is his kit unique in build, it also features drums without bottom heads. We also talk to drum tech Dave Atkinson, whom Danny says is “the reason I’m a functioning drummer on tour.”
